My favorite themes are people, architecture, landscapes and animals. Ensuing artworks are usually created in short series. Diversity of subjects, techniques and non-repetitiveness – these are words that describe my artistic approach.

My gallery website showcases some of my paintings in oil, ink, & watercolors, pencil and pastel drawings as well as free-standing and relief sculpture in clay and terra-cotta.

Portraits

A portrait is an artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person.

Landscapes

The word 'landscape' entered the modern English language as landskip (variously spelt), an anglicization of the Dutch landschap, around the start of the 17th century, purely as a term for works of art, with its first use as a word for a painting in 1598.

Horses

The Przewalski's horse is the only truly wild horse whose ancestors were never domesticated. Ironically, this stocky, sturdy animal exists today only in captivity. The last wild Przewalski's horse was seen in Mongolia in 1968.
